Terms of Service — chatview

These Terms govern the use of chatview, service operated by Corewake (contact: contact@corewake.com) and available at https://getchatview.com.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What chatview is

chatview is a web service that receives WhatsApp conversation exports (.zip or .txt files) and uses multimodal AI (Google Gemini) to generate:

  • Audio transcriptions with rich analysis (sentiment, emotions, topics);
  • Image and video descriptions;
  • Structured documents (summaries, meeting notes, timelines, briefings);
  • Search and conversation over the content via agentic chat.

The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of specific AI results.

2. Signup and account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
  • One unique email per account. Email changes require 2-step confirmation.
  • Login via email (magic link), Google OAuth or GitHub OAuth.

3. Plans and payment

  • Free: up to 3 conversations processed per calendar month.
  • Pro: unlimited conversations, $[amount to confirm]/month, billed via Stripe.
  • Pro subscription renews automatically. You can cancel anytime (cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period).
  • No proportional refund for early cancellation.

4. Responsible use — user responsibilities

You are fully responsible for the content you upload. In particular:

4.1 Third-party consent

WhatsApp exports contain messages, audio and images from people other than you. It is your responsibility to have consent or legal basis to process that content, per LGPD, GDPR or applicable law in your country.

chatview does NOT verify third-party consent. By uploading an export, you declare you have proper authorization.

4.2 Prohibited use

You may not use chatview to:

  • Process content obtained illegally (e.g.: conversations intercepted without consent);
  • Generate material that violates copyright, trademark or other third-party rights;
  • Blackmail, harass, defame or harm any person;
  • Automate bulk requests, scrape or attempt to bypass usage limits;
  • Attempt reverse engineering, vulnerability exploitation or unauthorized infrastructure access;
  • Resell or redistribute the service without prior authorization.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension.

5. Intellectual property

5.1 Your data

You retain all rights over the content you upload (exports, media, documents generated from them). You grant chatview a limited, non-exclusive and temporary license to process that content exclusively for the purpose of providing the service (including sending to Google Gemini for analysis).

5.2 Our software

The code, design, brand and documentation of chatview are owned by Corewake. No right of use beyond access to the service is granted.

6. Generative AI — limitations

Analyses, transcriptions and documents are generated by AI models (Google Gemini). AI-generated content may contain errors, hallucinations, omissions or inaccuracies. You are responsible for:

  • Reviewing any document before using in a professional, legal, medical or equivalent context;
  • Not making critical decisions based solely on AI outputs;
  • Validating sensitive facts with the original sources.

We don't guarantee accuracy, completeness or fitness for a specific purpose.

7. Availability and interruptions

The service is provided on a "best effort" basis. We may:

  • Temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance;
  • Alter, add or remove features;
  • Limit excessive use that compromises the operation (rate limiting, abuse blocking).

We don't guarantee 100% availability or formal SLA.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, chatview's liability is limited to the amount paid for subscription in the last 12 months. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect losses, lost profits or consequential damages;
  • AI-generated content;
  • Interruptions or data losses due to third-party provider failure (Cloudflare, Google, Stripe, AWS);
  • Misuse of the service by third parties with your credentials.

9. Termination

9.1 By you

You can terminate your account anytime via the "Delete my account" button in the account menu. Deletion is immediate and permanent — all chats, media, generated documents and metadata are erased.

9.2 By us

We may suspend or terminate your account in case of:

  • Violation of these Terms;
  • Suspicious or fraudulent activity;
  • Legal requirement;
  • End of the service operation (in this case, with reasonable advance notice).

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be notified in the app or by email with 30 days advance notice when possible. Continued use after the change configures acceptance.

11. Applicable law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The venue of São Paulo/SP is elected to resolve any disputes, without prejudice to consumer rights per the Consumer Defense Code.
